Todd Cunningham ~ Todd has been involved with MWC since 1999 and as of March 2007 is its owner. Todd was born, raised, and currently lives on the North Shore. He graduated from UBC in 2002 and has traveled in Australia, S.E. Asia, and extensively in Europe. He worked in retail in the sporting goods industry for many years, in construction, and did his stint with the District of North Van before embarking on his career in the wine making business. Todd oversees the sales and marketing for MWC and is involved with production quality control.

Al Kinghorn ~ Al has been a valuable member of the MWC team since May 1997. He was born in Vancouver but has made the North Shore his home since 1992. His previous work experience includes 12 years as a teen coordinator with the Boys and Girls Club and managing a youth hostel on the North Shore. Al is married and the proud father of Mia, born in 2002. He is our customer service specialist and is comfortable with all aspects of our wine making operation.

Klaus Hertel ~ Klaus is the vintner at MWC. We depend on him for quality control and innovative wine making techniques. He was born and raised in the Pfalz wine growing region in southern Germany where his family owns and operates their vineyards and winery. His formal training was at the Wine Institute in Neustadt in Rhineland Pfalz, where he studied for three years as well as doing his apprenticeship. Klaus has been a resident in Canada since 1976 and is the longest serving member of the MWC having joined us in 1994.

Kathy Cunningham ~ North Shore residents Kathy and Harley Cunningham purchased MWC in 1998. Kathy ran the on-site part of the business and Harley (retired N. S. teacher) was and is the bookkeeper. Kathy came from the non-profit sector working for the YMCA full-time for 8 years and is still involved in their fitness program. Newly semi-retired, Kathy is a part time consultant for the day-to-day operation of MWC.
